AI words equal the generated text you receive, with a 50-word minimum per run. A 5,000-word literature review uses about 5,000 credits. Prompts, retrieved sources, and Help pages do not use credits.

Reset and running out
What consumes credits: AI words equal the generated text you receive (essays, literature reviews, paraphrasing, humanizing, document analysis, detection, and similar runs). Each run bills at least 50 words. Prompts and retrieved sources are not billed.
Same tools on every plan: Free, Lite, and Pro unlock the same academic workspace. Upgrading increases your monthly AI-word allowance — it does not unlock a separate tool pack.
Monthly reset: Your plan’s monthly word allocation resets each billing cycle. Unused words do not roll over.
When you run out: Generative tools pause when your balance is empty until the next reset, a plan change, or a top-up once purchase is available. File conversion stays free.
